The last word with Glenn Baker
The cup tie on sunday was a pleasure to watch. Good players were on show from both sides and even though my team were the underdogs the players performed to their true potential. We have the ability to play in the highest Sunday league division. Sundays game gave us a taste of what it will be like every week. To be honest we've not played well at all this season. It's no coincidence that we raise our game for the bigger teams. We need to work on maintaining our performances and become ruthless no matter who we're playing. This will help us next season when we must be at our best every week. Now I have witnessed such a performance I will not tolerate another woeful display. I will expect my team to perform on Sunday and destroy whatever is infront of them. THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!

What a start we had on Sunday. Thats more like it. Our next two league games are away which means we get a chance to experience new pub food. Just so long as they have Guiness on tap and a bag of iron fillings I won't complain.
Words from the Chairman
Hello and welcome as we embark on this exciting new season. I'll get right in there and say the pre-season friendly against Fountain Court was a huge slap in the face. We still have a lot of work to do and it's lucky I'm a grafter because the performance on Sunday was not for the faint hearted.I have a powerful heart with a good recovery rate. The players better recover from the defeat or else. We haven't had the best pre-season, to be honest we haven't had a pre-season. A rotten hand has been dealt to us this year with no teams wanting to play us or failing to turn up for the match. We've only had a few decent training sessions so the players are bound to be a tad rusty but with most back playing again on Saturday I'm sure the cobwebs will clear and we can get back to playing the simple game.
Chairman Time
Name the toughest player you've played with or against?
Dave Maiden, without doubt. The nicest guy you can meet off the pitch.
But as soon as he walked on the field he was a nasty piece of work.
Toughest Player at Totton Town?
I'am
Toughest Player at Totton Town, besides you?
I believe Mike Smith can hold his own. One thing is for sure it's definitely not Sam Payne.
Who do you forecast for Player of the season?
It would be nice to have another difficult decision to make at the end of this campaign. I believe a fair few players will be in the running. With the likes of Adam Mallet who was extremely consistent last season we had Liam Hanlon scoring for fun, Danny Hanlon with his exciting runs down the line and Daniel Gain with his stubborn ball control. It will be hard to take the title from Matt Froukhians this year who will no doubt be pushing to regain the crown all the way.
How do you keep the cat hair off your clothes?
what? cat hair?
You have cats yet nobody has ever seen you with cat hair on your clothes.
Oh ok well it's pretty simple really. I have black cats so i wear black. The truth is I'm covered in the stuff but you wouldn't know. It's all about perception.
How often do you take a leak?
Excuse me?
A leak, how often do you take a leak?
A leak, you must be joking?I don't know, once a week for about 20 minutes.
Whats the hardest thing you've ever done?
Probably resisting to give you a whack right now.
What is your favourite track for in car entertainment?
I like the bleep test on long car journeys. I really get into it along the motorway.I can be in Birmingham by level 18.
Would you give money to a homeless person?
Money? I'd give em a kick!
Have you ever used a Bidet?
YES I take anual cleansing very seriously, now beat it!!!
